What the ISTJ-TS personality is like
Sensitive and Self-reliant on top of the Anchor: things reach you fast and fully, and you hold them privately. The email arrives at six in the evening, and by midnight you've reread it again and again, drafted answers, and set out tomorrow's clothes as if that would settle it.
Under pressure
Pressure comes up like a tide: slowly at first, then all at once. You check twice, then again, and the list gets longer at night. Small things start to weigh as much as large ones, and sleep is the first thing to go.
From outside it all looks organized, because it is. From inside, organizing is how you hold the water back. It works. It also takes everything you have.
When something goes wrong
You keep the routine going and tell nobody. The reports are on time, the lunch is made, the usual "fine" goes out when someone asks. It isn't distrust; you don't yet have it in a sentence, and you don't want to hand over something unfinished.
By the time it's said, it has usually been the whole week. The people close to you remember that you seemed fine.
How the two fit
Sensitive and alone means you feel it all and hold it all, in good order. The price is that the routine that holds you also hides you: the better you hold, the less anyone sees, and the water finds you at night. The Stone Anchor carries it in silence, the Harbor Anchor calls early, the Tender Anchor says it aloud.
