The Wandering Spark ENTP-TS personality type

A variant of ENTP

Left the party first. Walked home the long way

ENTP-TS: The Spark that feels things fast and fully and carries them alone: more movement, a private weather system, and a sentence going round.

ENTP-TS personality type, illustrated: A woman in her early sixties, Latina with copper-brown skin, a short silver curly bob, and a washed navy cardigan over a terracotta blouse.

What the ENTP-TS personality is like

Sensitive and Self-reliant on top of the Spark: things reach you fast and fully, and you carry them yourself. You leave the party first, with a cheerful wave, and walk home the long way with one sentence from the evening still going round.

Under pressure

Pressure arrives all at once and lights everything. Your energy goes up, then scatters: three tasks started, two ideas texted to nobody, a new plan by evening. From outside it looks like momentum.

From inside it's a motor running a little fast. You move because moving is easier than staying with it, and the speed is real, and so is the feeling under it.

When something goes wrong

You tell no one. You change scenery instead: a long walk, a drive with no destination, a sudden new project. Somewhere between the third street and the fourth idea, the thing gets smaller, and you often come home with a plan.

What you don't do is say "this is bothering me" to a person. You've talked all day; this one stays in your pocket.

How the two fit

Outgoing, Sensitive and Self-reliant is a lot of life and a private weather system. The price is that moving carries the feeling without naming it, so it follows you from project to project, and a week can pass feeling unsettled for no reason you could state. It goes better when it gets named once, even in a note to yourself. The Steady Spark carries it quietly, the Easy Spark calls early, the Blazing Spark says it all at once.
